Back From Boise
I'm back.
Sometimes Christmas seems like a dream. The bags are unpacked and everything is back in its rightful place. It doesn't even look like I went anywhere. I bought a candle that is cinnamon-y and burned it last night as I folded laundry and put my new ornaments in the christmas box. That was quite a walk down memory lane. There were little painted dolls from the market in Pushkin, Russia, a porcelain bear wearing a velvet dress that I received when I was in elementary school and several handmade ornaments from my great-grandma.
I just love this time of year...

Back to Boise
Tomorrow morning I am getting up before sunrise to be whisked away to Boise for Christmas. Last year, my sister and mom lived in different houses and this was the tree across the street from my parents' place. The only sad part about this year is my other sister and her family won't be there. :( It just won't be the same.
This year has gone so fast...and it has been a wonderful one--full of adventure and surprises. I'm really looking forward to some rest and conversation with the fam. I'm also in need of being followed around the house by the cats. Love them.
Hope you all have a wonderful Christmas!

Papercut Day

Kate Forrester and Elsa Mora are amazing. They are a couple more of my bookmarked artists who I visit regularly. The intricacy of their designs and work takes my breath away!

The Amazing Geninne

This blog is taking my breath away.
Breathe.
Breathe.
Everything Geninne touches is magic--from her beautiful watercoloured birds to the wall of paintings she's collected from other artists. Lovely! I'm so grateful she is sharing with the world. :)

List of Things to Do and Places to Visit

To Do Immediately (Or At Least Close to Immediately Once Funds Have Fallen Into One's Lap):
1. Visit these amazing crafty places in Los Angeles, Portland, Berlin, and Paris. The L.A. bit of that sentence is totally doable. I have visited Reform School in Silverlake, so I can place a check mark next to that one. Love that place.

Vintage

I'm not completely sure what this poster is supposed to be advertising--applying lipstick whilst driving a motorcycle? Being fashionable at all costs? ;) Whatever the case, i'm still loving galerie montmartre's vintage posters.
A little something from print society...apparently, the 'print only' version of an etsy. I'm also in love with the Michael and Emma shop.
Lotta Birds

Anyone who knows me knows how much I love little birds. So it is no surprise that I love Lotta Nieminen's wonderful illustrations! Visit her website here.
